Golden Apeldoorn Tulips give us a wonderful display in rich colour. These Tulips flower brilliantly on 45cm to 55cm stems making them a great cut flower. They are easy to grow in a sunny, well drained position but do prefer a southern cool spot in warmer districts. Plant the bulbs in well prepared soil, 6cm to 8cm deep and 10cm to 15cm apart. If drainage is an issue, plant shallower and mound soil around them. Tulips are best lifted in November to December and stored in a cool dry place with good air movement. Re-plant bulbs in April to May. 5 bulbs per pack.
