Physostegia virginiana, Obedient Plant – Pb5

Better known as Obedient Plant, Obedience or False Dragonhead. Produces terminal spikes with tubulars flowers whose colours range from white, various shades of pink and mauve. Flowers begin to emerge in summer and continue through into autumn. Plant in either full sun or partial shade where soils are fertile, reasonably moist and free-draining. Grows to between 70cm and 90cm in height and up to 40cm in width.
