Adams Pearmain is an old English variety. Handsome red fruit with a dry nutty flavour similar to Egremont Russet. Medium sized fruit. Heavier crops are gained when pollinated by another variety such as Cox’s Orange Pippin, Discovery, Granny Smith, Jonathan and Peasgood Nonsuch.
