A heritage apple originating from Devon in England. Mainly used for cider making but may also be eaten. Has pale yellow skin with a light pink blush and sweet, juicy flesh. Prefers a sunny position in fertile, moist but free-draining soil. Will benefit from being pollinated by another variety of apple such as Adam’s Pearmain, Bramley, Kidd’s Orange and Kingston Black.
