Sometime known as Wheki, Brown Tree Fern and Ponga. It is a popular, fast growing, New Zealand native fern. Requires moist but free-draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Hardy, evergreen and best grown in a location that is sheltered from the wind.
May grow to between 5m and 6m and fronds spreading to about 3m.
