Also known as Narrow-leaved Maire. An evergreen, native tree with narrow, willow-like leaves, an upright growth habit and a rounded crown. Produces cream coloured flowers that are then followed by red berries that are eaten by birds. Best grown in partial shade but does tolerate full sun. Withstands periods of drought and hardy to frosts once established. Suitable for growing in coastal locations.

May grow to a height of 15m.
