There is a huge range of colours in Penstemons that are easy to grow. They are a fairly hardy perennial that really brightens up the garden in late summer and autumn. Penstemons can be grown in a border, beds or even in containers. They are relatively drought tolerant, and whilst Penstemons are happy in full sun, they will tolerate a degree of shade as well in soils that are average to fertile and free-draining.
Grows to between 45cm and up to 90cm.
