Also known as Saw Banksia or Old Man Banksia. This variety is a small, gnarled, long lived tree. Tolerates most types of well-drained soils in full sun or partial shade. Frost and fire tolerant. Has large green-yellow flowers in spring and summer. Suitable for coastal situations with strong winds, inland or cool mountain areas.
Grows to between 10m to 12m.
