Has large, showy, deep red, semi-double blooms with irregular petals and bright yellow stamen. They begin to flower in early winter and through into spring. Prefers to grow in a semi-shaded position but will tolerate full sun. Soils need to be moist, rich in organic matter and well-drained. Suitable for hedging and screens, perfect as a specimen shrub. Hardy evergreen.
Grows to approximately 2.4m x 1.8m.
