Has large foliage and large mophead type flowers of a rosy red colour. Likes part shade/filtered sunlight and moist, well-drained soil. The occassional top dressing of dolomitic lime will help to maintain its colour. A hardy, deciduous shrub.
Grows to between 1.2m and 1.5m in height and width.
