Better known as Witch Hazel. Has a neat, upright, vase-shaped growth habit and produces fragrant, lemon-yellow flowers that appear in clusters from late winter and through to spring. Can be grown in either full sun or partial shade in average type soils that are moist but free-draining. A hardy, deciduous shrub with foliage that produces good autumn colour.
