Also known as Beale’s Barberry. An attractive, erect shrub that has terminal clusters of fragrant, yellow blooms followed by powder-blue to black clusters of berries. Spiny leaves make a fine barrier plant or specimen. Hardy, evergreen shrub that can be grown in full sun or partial shade where soils moist, free-draining and contain organic material. Grows to approximately 1.5m x 1.5m.
