Port Wine Magnolia. A hardy, evergreen shrub that has highly fragrant, dark burgundy-red flowers partially hidden amongst the foliage. Flowers begin to emerge in spring and through summer. Ideal as a feature/specimen plant, grown as hedges or screens, topiary work or as standards for both the garden and containers. Left untrimmed M. Figo grows to about 3m x 3m. Tolerates frost and coastal conditions.
