Drimys lanceolata – pb6.5 (30/40)

Also known as Mountain Pepper. This Tasmanian native has small lance-shaped dark evergreen leaves. The dark foliage is highlighted by the purple-red stems. Flowers are small and white but make a nice show on the plant and they appear throughout summer. Plant in a sunny position where soils are fertile, moist but free-draining. Grows to about 4m x 2m.
