A rosette forming succulent grown for its overall appearance. Has spectacular, tubular blue flowers that age to purple-red are borne on stiff, upright panicles during summer. Ideal in containers or in the garden. Plant in full sun where soils are free-draining. Hardy evergreen. Plant grows to about 90cm x 90cm and the flower stem may grow up to 150cm.
