Also known as Canadian Serviceberry. A small tree grown for its Spring flowering and stunning Autumn colours. Foliage emerges with a pale green colour and matures to dark green then in Autumn, the foliage turns to various shades of red, orange and yellow. The tree becomes smothered by lightly fragrant, white flowers in Spring which are then followed by edible, blue-black berries that attract birds. May be grown in full sun or partial shade and adapts well to most types of soil that are free-draining.
Usually grows to about 4m x 3m.
