Port Wine Magnolia. A hardy, evergreen shrub that has highly fragrant, dark burgundy-red flowers partially hidden amongst the foliage. Flowers begin to emerge in spring and through summer. Ideal as a feature/specimen plant,grown as hedges or screens, topiary work or as standards for both the garden and containers.Tolerates frost and coastal conditions.
Grows to between 3m and 4m in height and possibly upto 3m wide.
