Has bright red, bottlebrush type flowers in spring and summer which attract bees and nectar-feeding birds. Hardy and tolerates most types of soil, frost and can be grown in either full sun or partial shade. May be planted out to create hedges and screens, prune after flowering to help maintain shape.
Grows to about 1.5m x 1.2m.
