Osmanthus h. Purpurea – Pb5 (30/40 cm )

A hardy, evergreen shrub with foliage that resembles that of Holly. New growth is a purple-bronze colour and produces small, fragrant white flowers in autumn. May be grown in a sunny position or in dappled light. Soils need to be average to fertile, slightly acidic, moist but free-draining. Responds well to being trimmed and grows to about 1.6m x 1m.
