Leucothoe axillaris Curly Red – Pb6.5

Has crinkly, leathery foliage colored deep purple, red and emerald green which turns to softer shades in the summer and looks great all year round. A fantastic compact plant for containers or as a low hedge for a border or even as a focal point in the garden. Does not need pruning. Prefers soils that are fertile, moist but free-draining in either full sun or partial shade. Grows to about 50cm x 50cm.
