Also known as Olea europaea Manzanillo. A Spanish variety thats good for eating fresh, oil and pickling. A smaller tree than other varieties, early-bearing and producing good crops of fruit. Partially self-fertile and would benefit from being pollinated by another variety such as Frantoio. Plant in a sunny position that is sheltered from heavy frost and strong winds.
