Grown as an ornamental specimen tree, for shelter and for firewood. Has narrow, willow-like foliage and produce white flowers in and around March or April. Reasonably quick growing and suitable for most sites with free-draining soils. Evergreen and frost hardy.
Grows to about 10m in height and upto 6m in width.
