A hardy evergreen shrub with new foliage being bronze-green then becoming a glossy dark green as they mature. In Spring, dense pendulous panicles of bell-shaped pink and white flowers begin to emerge lasting well into Summer. Prefers a partially shaded position where soils are slightly acidic, fertile and not too dry. Very tolerant of heavy frosts.
Grows to approximately 1.5m x 1m.
