Clianthus puniceus Rosea – 3.3Ltr

Kaka Beak. An attractive, evergreen, native shrub producing a profusion of parrot beak-shaped flowers that are salmon-pink in colour and hang down in small clusters, emerging in Spring. Prefers a partially shaded position, protection from frosts and winds. Soils need to be suitably moist, average to fertile and free-draining. Attracts nectar-feeding birds. May be pruned after flowering has finished to help maintain shape.

Usually grows to between 1.5m and 2m both in height and width.
