A deciduous, early flowering, perennial climber that has large, pale blue-lilac flowers with a central bar to each petal. Foliage is a mid-green colour that resembles the foliage of raspberries. Best grown in full sun or partial shade with the roots planted in shade, Soils need to be moist, reasonably fertile and free-draining. Mulch in mid to late Winter.
