Dasylirion acrotrichum, Green Desert Spoon – Pb6.5

D. acrotrichum is a tender evergreen perennial with stiff linear blue-green leaves forming a spherical crown. Its leaves fray at the edges forming significant tufts of fibres at their tips. In summer, it bears narrow compact spikes of creamy-brown flowers. May grow to about 1.6m in height.
