An attractive mediun sized apple that is a bright red that turns to a burgundy colour as it matures, and a pale green background. Has a good aromatic, sweet-sharp flavour. Heavy cropping, late season. Produce heavier crops when pollinated by another variety of apple such as Gala, Granny Smith, Jonathan and Peasgood Nonsuch.
