A hardy, evergreen shrub best known for its sweet, aromatic fruit and for having bright red flowers similar to that of the Pohutukawa. Suitable for growing as a hedge that tolerates coastal conditions and mild to moderate frosts. Plant in a sunny position where soils are fertile, but will tolerate most types of soil that are free-draining.
May grow to 3m – 3.5m x 2m.
