A late season red apple and highly recommended for the fruit connoisseur’s garden. Has great flavour that is sweet, perfumed and very distinctive. Upright growth habit and partially self-fertile with some resistance to scab. Heavier crops are gain when pollinated by another variety of apple such as Calville Blanc D’Hiver, Cornish Aromatic, Ellison’s Orange, Fuji, Gala and Tydeman’s Early Worcester.
