Apple Granny Smith – Espalier Pb40

Produces medium to large fruit that are green in colour. Has crisp, juicy white flesh with a tart, balanced flavour and stores well. Reasonably self-fertile but they do benefit from being pollinated by another variety such as Golden Delicious and Monty’s Surprise. Plant in a sunny position where soils are fertile, evenly moist especially when in fruit and free-draining. Prune as required.
