These are a Southern Highbush variety with a vigorous, upright growth habit. An early season selection that bears fruit that are large, sweet with a mild flavour which are usually ready to harvest in and around November. Best grown in a sunny, sheltered position where soils are rich in humus, slightly acidic, moist but free-draining. Fruits yields are heavier when planted near to another variety such as Petite Blue. A deciduous, hardy shrub.
On average they usually grow to between 1.5m and 2m both in height and width.
