Mandarin Satsuma tends to be a generous cropper. Extremely popular with excellent flavour, they are easy to peel, sweet, juicy and virtually seedless. When in flower, the area is filled with the fragrance from the highly perfumed blossom. Best plant in a sunny position where soils are fertile, moist and free-draining and is sheltered from strong winds and heavy frosts. Harvest fruit several days after they have turned completely orange.
May grow to between 3m and 4m in height.
