Produces medium to large, egg-shaped fruit that are pale yellow in colour with purple stripes. The taste is similar to a mix of cucumber, cantaloupe and honeydew melon. A small, vigorous-growing shrub that likes a sunny position in soils that are suitably moist, fertile and free-draining, ideal for growing in containers. Flowers emerge in Spring with fruit being ready to harvest from mid to late Summer.
Usually grows to between 90cm and 100cm both in height and width.
