Produces heavy crops of large red fruit in Summer. The canes are almost thornless and the fruit are easily picked and have good flavour. Best grown in a sunny, sheltered position where soils are moist especdially uring the growing season and when in fruit, rich in humus and free-draining. Tolerates cool climates and frost. Prune out old canes once fruiting has finished.
Grows to about 2m in height and spreads to about 1.5m.
