A compact, evergreen, native shrub with new foliage being mid-green and gradually turns to a plum-red colour as it mature. Prefers to be grown in a sunny position and adapts well to most types of soil that are free-draining. Perfect as a feature plant and suitable for growing in suitably sized containers. May be trimmed in winter to help maintain the shape and size, but also helps to encourage new growth. Hardy and ideal for growing in coastal locations.
May grow to about 1.5m x 1m if left untrimmed.
