A very hardy, evergreen, native shrub that has small, star-shaped, yellow flowers in spring followed by red berries in autumn. Prefers full sun, adapts to most types of soil and are suitable for growing in coastal locations. They respond well to being trimmed making them a perfect choice for planting out to create hedges and screens.
Left untrimmed, they may grow to between 2.5m and 3m.
