Elaeagnus x Limelight – Pb6.5

Limelight is a large, hardy, evergreen shrub growing to about 3 metres tall that is suitable for tough areas or coastal regions. It has variegated leaves which are silvery-green at first and then turn dark green with a broad central bright yellow botch. Limelight is a sun hardy plant that produces some small, sweetly scented white-cream flowers in autumn. It makes an excellent screen or clipped hedge and is generally vigorous and trouble free.
