A hardy, native perennial with dark, slightly arching, sword-like foliage. In late Spring, early Summer, tall flower stems grow above the tha foliage bearing panicles of red, tubular flowers that attract nectar-feeding birds. May be grown in full sun or partial shade with average to medium moisture and adapts to most types of soil. Tolerant to drought and perfect for growing in coastal locations.
May grow to a height of 1.2m and upto 1.5m in width.
