A native, evergreen shrub or small tree with an upright growth habit and noted for its small, reddish-green foliage and miniature, white, pom-pom-like flowers from late Spring, early Summer. These are then followed by the small red berries that attract birds. May be grown as feature plant or planted out and trimmed to create hedges and screens. Can also be trimmed up to create pleached hedging.
Untrimmed, they may grow to about 5m x 2.5m.
