Also known as Horopito or New Zealand Pepper Tree. This handsome evergreen native has highly aromatic glossy, green leaves with contrasting bluish-green undersides. Greenish-yellow flowers begin to emerge in spring then followed by bright red berries. A very hardy and easy to grow shrub that thrives in shady situations.
Grows to approximately 2m to 3m.
