Also known as Cigar Plant and Firecracker Plant. A spreading evergreen sub-shrub with lance-shaped leaves and tubular scarlet flowers, black at the tips and edged white. Produces flowers in spring and through summer. Suitable for mixed borders, rockeries and look great when grown in containers. Plant in full sun or partial shade where soil is fertile, moist but free-draining. Trim after flowering to maintain a tidy shape.
Grows to approximately 50cm in height and width.
