Dietes butcheriana – Pb5

A wild iris with white flowers with apricot coloured marking’s very similar to the better-known D. iridioides but with wider leaves. The evergreen foliage is carried in graceful fans. It thrives in shade or light shade: create a natural forest-floor effect. Tolerates both drought and wet, but prefers moist soil. Sporadic flowering throughout the year, but especially in spring and summer.
