Andromeda compacta, Bog Rosemary – Pb6.5

It is a low growing shrub that is usually found growing on moist and wet moors and in woodlands. The shape of the foliage is similar to that of Rosemary. Small, bell-like flowers begin to emerge in September and through into December. Flowers are typically pale pink or white. Andromeda may be grown in full sun or partial shade and soils need to be humus-rich, ericaceous and moist.

Grows to between 20cm to 30cm both in height and width.
