Produces a mass of single white flowers that are tinged with the palest of mauve and have a pink speckled throat . They begin to emerge in mid to late winter and through to mid-spring. They prefer to be planted in partial shade where soils contain organic material, are slightly acidic, moist and free-draining. A hardy, evergreen shrub that grows to between 1.5m and 1.8m in height.
