A large shrub that produces massive flower spikes up to 40cm in length that are orange in colour, attracting nectar-feeding birds. Requires a sunny position and grows well in average type soils that are free-draining. Low maintenance and does not require much water once established. Evergreen and suitable for growing in coastal locations.
