Also known as Tree Fuchsia. They are a quick growing, semi-deciduous, native shrub that bears purple and red flowers from mid-Spring that attract nectar-feeding birds. These flowers are then followed by edible berries that taste similar to Tamarillo and also attract birds. May be grown in full sun or shade in soils that are moist, fertile and free-draining.
May grow from 6m to 10m in height.
