A stunning, hardy, deciduous, rounded shrub with dark red, upright growing stems and produces cream-white conical flowers in summer that gradually turn pink as they age and having good autumn foliar colour too, an outstanding feature plant for the garden. May be grown in full sun or light shade where soils are fertile, reasonably moist and free-draining.
Typically grows to about 1.5m both in height and width.
