Also known as Jet Bead and White Kerria. A deciduous shrub with arching branches bearing ovate, deeply veined, mid-green foliage turning pale yellow in autumn. In late spring, early summer, four petalled, papery, white flowers emerge followed by glossy, black berries. Likes either full sun or partial shade in moist but well-drained soils. Grows to approximately 1m to 1.5m both in height and width.
