Doryanthes excelsa, Gymea Lily – Pb6.5

One of the worlds largest lilies. Has sword-shaped foliage with tall torch-like deep red flowers in spring and summer. The flower stem quite often grows to between 2.5m to 4m. Plant out in full sun or part shade, hardy and tolerant of a wide range of conditions.
