Michelia maudiae – Pb6.5

A rare form of Michelia with grey-green foliage and producing large, fragrant white flowers from Spring onwards. Hardy evergreen that requires free-draining, humus rich soil in either full sun or partial shade. May be grown as a specimen plant, for background planting or grown to form hedges and screens. Has a mature height of approximately 4 metres and may be trimmed to retain a good shape. Not often seen in New Zealand.
